Distance shouldn’t decide who looks after the people you love. We’re building the most trusted way to be there, even when you can’t.

Why Shloka Care

Care shouldn’t depend on luck.

When someone you love needs help in a hurry, the usual options are an agency you’ve never heard of, a cash payment and a lot of hoping. There’s no proof anyone turned up and no record of what was done. Shloka Care is the calmer way: a verified person by their side, and a clear record of every visit.

Working in another city or abroad

Your parents are in Lucknow and you’re in Bengaluru, Delhi or overseas. We can go to the appointment you can’t make and tell you how it went.

Coming to Lucknow for treatment

Travelling in from another district with no family in the city? A companion can handle the queues, reports and pharmacy runs while you focus on the patient.

Elders living on their own

Regular visits bring company, a steady hand for getting out and about, and peace of mind for everyone in the family.

Services

Three ways we can help from day one.

Book a companion by the hour. Every service comes with the same checks, visit codes and updates.

Hospital Assist

A steady companion for hospital days, from the first queue to the drive home.

  • Registration, queues and OPD visits
  • Collecting reports and medicines
  • Staying by the bedside
  • Updates to you through the day

Elderly Care

Company and a helping hand for parents and grandparents at home.

  • Conversation and a short walk
  • Going along to doctor’s appointments
  • Trips to the market or temple
  • A note to you after every visit

Personal Assist

The errands that need someone there in person, done properly.

  • Bank and post office visits
  • Bills, forms and paperwork
  • Standing in queues for you
  • Collecting and dropping off

Support, not treatment. Our companions are not nurses or medical staff. They don’t give medicines, injections or any kind of treatment. They stay by your loved one’s side and take care of everything around it.

Coming later. 24×7 urgent help, a driver for your own car, and monthly care plans.

How it works

Four steps. No guesswork.

Booking takes a couple of minutes, and you’re kept in the loop the whole way through.

  1. Tell us what you need

Pick the service, the date, how many hours and the address or hospital. You see the price before you confirm.

  2. Meet your companion

Once a companion is assigned, you get their name, photo, languages and verification checks.

  3. Start with your code

The visit begins only when you share a one-time start code, and ends with an end code. Times are recorded automatically.

  4. Stay updated, then pay

Follow the visit as it happens. Pay by UPI or card once it’s done and get a GST invoice on WhatsApp or email.

We’re opening with a small pilot in Lucknow, so your first visits will be arranged with you personally over a call or WhatsApp.

Safety

Trust is the whole job.

Letting someone into your family’s life is a big decision. Every part of a visit is designed so you never have to wonder who is there or what is happening.

  1. Verified before the first visit

Identity checks, police verification and references, then training, before anyone joins.

FAQ

Questions families ask.

Something else on your mind? Ask us in the enquiry form.

Are your companions nurses or medical staff?

No. Our companions are trained helpers, not nurses. They don’t give medicines, injections or any kind of treatment. They stay by your loved one’s side, deal with the running around, speak with hospital staff on your behalf and keep you informed.

How do you check each companion?

Before anyone joins, we check their identity, complete police verification and speak to their references. They then go through our training on hospital support, elder care, safety and conduct. You’ll see these checks on their profile when they’re assigned to you.

I live in another city or abroad. Can I book for my parents?

Yes, that’s exactly who we’re building Shloka Care for. You book and pay online, get your companion’s details before the visit, and follow updates from wherever you are.

Where in Lucknow do you work?

We’re starting in Lucknow, at homes and hospitals around the city, from large hospitals like SGPGI, KGMU and Lohia to the nursing home down the road. We’ll add more cities once we’ve got Lucknow right.

How much will it cost?

You pay by the hour for the service you choose. We’ll share our prices when we open, and you’ll always see the full amount, including GST, before you confirm. You pay after the visit, by UPI or card.

What happens in an emergency during a visit?

Your companion’s first step is to call for an ambulance on 108 or 112. Every live visit also has an SOS button that alerts our team and a trusted contact you choose, so help is coordinated quickly.

When can I book?

We’re starting soon with a small pilot group of families in Lucknow. Send us an enquiry and we’ll get in touch as soon as we can help.

I’d like to work as a companion. How do I apply?

Choose “I want to work as a companion” in the enquiry form and tell us a little about yourself. If it’s a good fit, we’ll invite you to apply, complete your checks and join our training.
